Book Review Editor Carol White reviews ePluribus Media's own Aaron Barlow's new bookThe Rise of the Blogosphere. She begins by pointing out: [E]ven though Barlow is a passionate advocate of citizen journalism as it is manifest online, he see does not see it as a substitute for a viable press. And, he rejects the contention that web journals are an essentially new form simply because they are distributed through the internet. And as White suggests: One of Barlow's targets in the book is the fraud of objectivity. Honest journalism demands a commitment to truth, not an account that purports to be an unvarnished presentation of fact. Read the review ... then come back here to discuss!
