Citizen Journalism Quiz

by rcs1

Just for fun, I created a short quiz relating to citizen journalism.

Want to take it?  Click on the link below the fold.

citizen journalism :: :: :: buzz-it!
Don't think of this as definitive... it's just my own bit of construction (though I do try to plug ePMedia in it!):

Quiz for Citizen Journalists

Enjoy!

It's all subjective anyway, isn't? After all, what are facts?

Like a good, well trained exam taker, I read all the questions first.

I came to Chris' conclusion that the outcome might not be very favourable to my confidence in posting anything on here in future. Then Sally the Psycho dog came up to the computer asking to be taken outside, so it prevented me from actually being able to vote. I expect that in reality I would have done quite well - no, I sure I would have done very well - but I didn't get the chance to find out. La,la,la,la. Must go and make tea now.

I disagree with the answer to the first question...so, needless ot say, I didn't get very far and am not worthy of being a citizen journalist.

I'm going to go cry now....

...I took it over again, trouble is results are not authentic... is that a learning experience, or cheating?

I'm suspecting some questions not being phrased quite right so that they are open to interpretation....

ever?

by Cho on Tue Feb 27, 2007 at 05:20:21 PM EST
that takes you to the answers.

I got an 80% and I'll tell you I really challenge the two answers I got "wrong," because in both cases, I believe that either my answer or the "correct" answer could be considered correct.

Aaron, I refer to questions 3 and 5.

On 3, if the answer isn't "A" then maybe you shouldn't be writing the story, and on 5, not only is the first half of answer "D" legal, but sometimes it's mandatory if you are to publish a story. It's how you phrase the second half of that answer that makes the choice difficult.
