UPDATED: Lieberman's Democrat website not updated since 5/19

by rcs1

Update [2006-6-15 11:26:27 by Cho]: Both this commentary and Joe's official campaign site have been updated as of this morning. Just saying.

Okay, Scarce over at MyLeftNutmeg along with CTBob and a host of others have noticed that Lieberman has not updated his official website, linked to from the Connecticut State Dems page.

According to Scarce's comment on dKos, the webhostess has not responded to inquiries.

I find this all rather curious, that in a hot race, the good senator does not have an active Democratic website?

Update [2006-6-14 17:33:19 by Cho]:

More from MyLeftNutmeg -- posted by terhuxtim it just gets curiouser and curiouser:

I'm staying with my inlaws for the time being who are both registered Republicans, but good people all the same :) I answered the phone today and who was it that was calling? Why, it was Joe Lieberman's campaign asking for support and money from my Mother and father in law, both registered republicans. More about the phone call on the flip

commentary :: :: :: buzz-it!

and I know I am totally obsessed, but from Kos:

Rassmussen 6-12:

Lieberman 46 (51)
Lamont 40 (31)

of course, the margin of error is 6-12%

But you're in good company...

Atrios notes new endorsements for Ned...

Couple of my favorite Eastern CT type things are co-mingling here..

Plans are underfoot for a Lamont "presence" (yet to be determined) in the Willimantic Boombox parade...Last Year's Parade which is perfectly emblematic of this area.

It was the very first boombox parade anywhere.  Happened because there were no bands, no money, no nothing.  (Willimantic, as I have said elsewhere is poor in everything but spirit and frogs).  So Wili (that's the radio station) played Sousa marches and everyone, hummmm, walked down the, er, parade route.

And... geesh, I spend all that time in Willimantic looking for Frogs Marching last summer.

Okay... so that, plus Lamont...

Obsessed, but pumped.

Lieberman's Senate website is current up to today...

but it's kind of wild.

The weirdest one yet is Sean Smith's suggestion that Lamont is more "Republican" than Democrat, but first person narrative from terhuxtim is that it's Lieberman's campaign folks who are calling the registered republicans.

Curiouser and curiouser.

Sorry about the contageous obsession, but a thousand thanks for pointing that out Lieberman's Senate site still being active.

and tipped off by another Kos comment from the Hotlineblog of the NationalJournal:

Schumer said that the DSCC "fully supports" Sen. Joe Lieberman in his primary bid, and he refused to rule out continuing that support if Lieberman were to run as an independent.

There were degrees of independence, Schumer said. "You can run as an independent, you can run as an independent Democrat who pledges to vote for Harry Reid as Majority Leader."

Schumer said he had neither sought nor recieved assurances from Lieberman that an independent bid would not ensue if Ned Lamont tightened the noose.

Just not buying that a Senator, with less than 60 days, ignores his official website for 26 days in a row... May 19th through June 14th.

And if something isn't up -- he's sure oblivious to the whole world of netizens...

Too odd
