YearlyKos & ePluribus Media: A Good Fit

by rcs1

I'm posting two commentaries today filled with images from this past weekend. This first one shares a few focused on the ePluribus Media contingent.

Here's Kay and Susie Dow (and standingup hiding behind a poster -- can you spot her?) setting up the booth while I'm 'busy' recording the important event. Timroff's also moved in wearing one of the sharp ePluribus Media t-shirts the whole crew got to show off in. (Thanks for making that happen, and for hauling them all to Vegas!)

The ePluribus Media booth was flanked by Street Prophets (Joe Wilson stopped by the first day) and a guy selling funky bumper stickers to the right of us, and the Young Turks to the left. It made for a real lively corner of the exhibition hall, with lots of people passing by and dozens of interviews taking place.

Step inside and take a peek at a few more shots that hopefully reveal what a fantastic opportunity it was for all involved, and what a great time we had promoting ePluribus Media to the YearlyKos conventioneers.

Great time had by all manning the booth; and a warm welcome to all our new members, too!

You kept us feeling as if we were there the WHOLE entire time!

ilona's got another one of her great "inclusive heart" diaries on Kos We Were ALL at YK2006 .

Ilona, 'mam, are you from Texas?  Your heart surely is "that" big.

And it's big enough that it's coming over here, too. I just haven't cross-posted it quick enough. Darn, I need an assistant. :o)

We missed you, Cho, and everyone else who couldn't be there. I want you to know that we were thinking and talking A LOT about you guys; and we are certainly all still right back in it together now that it's all but a memory. What's important is what's to come; the past has already become insignificant in the grand scheme of things. It's all about what we have today, and what we'll build tomorrow.

Oh, dear. Now I'm sounding like Howard Dean.

Damn you YearlyKos. Damn you. :o)

It will take me a couple of days to catch up! But, I'm looking forward to hearing/reading those ideas. It was a terribly inspiring time; glad to hear that was the case no matter where one was as they soaked it all in.

In all of these photographs you've posted, here and at Daily Kos, the radiance in everyone's smiles.

With all of the effort of setting up, registering, arranging interviews, attending panels, and the party opportunities in a 24-hour a day place like Vegas... what a bunch of good-looking, energized people!

Thank you for representing us, and for taking the time to snap the pictures and post them... it's a real lift that I can't describe.

Moving s-l-o-w today. :o)

Thanks for this comment, wander. I wish everyone COULD have been there physically. Hmmm, this just occurred to me: what if all the focused attention on what we were doing in Vegas kicked up the magic for us. More people besides myself commented on people who couldn't make it; you guys were always in our thoughts, always on our minds, always in our hearts.
