After reading Aaron Barlow's review, what do you think, is there hope for the Democratic Party if it can listen to the Netroots?

Aaron wrote this over in the comments at kos.
would you rather be governed by people who believe in the possibility of good government, or by people who don't?
I think it's the most brilliant summary of the difference between the two parties I've ever heard so I'm spamming it about.

"People who don't" best exemplified by Grover Norquist's bathtub.

I hope many of our elected officials and those running for office will read this too.  We can only do so much from the grassroots level.

One of the things I really appreciated was how you framed the review in terms of your own experience in activism, an experience I suspect many of us share.

I pre-ordered the book in the last few weeks and have been really curious to read it. Now I am soooo glad I pre-ordered it. I have the feeling your awesome reveiw is going to send the order numbers thru the roof today.

Aaron's review pushed me to order my copy today, something I've been considering doing ever since Kos started taking the pre-orders.

all seem to meld the personal with an intelligent reading and summary of key points in the book.

Very nice.

Thanks!

Honestly, I recently considered ending all of my political involvements out of sheer frustration over the splintering and lack of party discipline. Many of the special interest sets simply can not seem to put their personal agendas aside for the sake of all involved.

I'm going to pick up a copy.

...until I read Aaron's review.

Hopefully, this book is the first step in a turnaround.
