Can we get Barbara a digital voice recorder? Would she be willing to record the interviews with the regular people that she speaks of in this podcast?

That would be one hell of a project, if we could start a collection of primary source accounts of experiences with Hurricane Katrina survivors.

: Barbara's status (none / 0) (#6)

She probably will have to evacuate by Friday, along with all the other out-of-state relief workers (although an evacuation to Texas is not much of an alternative at this point). She intends to return to SE LA in about a month, though -- we can try to get a digital vocorder into her hands before then.
