too bad you can't use your state' growing use of wind-turbines to deliver high-speed broadband Internet. Ohio still has lots of territory where even cell phone coverage is dicey -- definitely not good.
But from what I'm reading, you've got us beat in the category of renewable wind-energy industry. Ohio is debating a new energy bill, but the question is whether our investor-owned utilities will contribute enough campaign cash to our Republican-led Legislature to buy them the rate increases they desperately want. Wind is part of the mix, but I'm afraid that by the time it amounts to anything, I'll be just dust in the wind.
My wife and I lived in Texas for two months, May and June, in 2000, so I've got some Texas history to reflect on. Our apartment was almost in Farmer's Branch, a burb of Dallas; but we traveled as far away as San Antonio (my wife's aunt and uncle live there) and Corpus Christi, where the winds, even on a regular sunny day, blew with great ferocity. It's little wonder its home to the wind-surfing championship.
